Project 3 

For my project 3 i wanted to create a light weight structure that will have the feel of waves from the sea, i tried to keep it as simple as i could and to make it feel open and light.

I created a roof that curries down to become walls to hold up the whole structure it is set up onto four main points, witch they are located on each Conner of the structure. It is a light weight structure and very open the park and the surrounding buildings around it its also a nice design as it has different waves and turns within it.

Interim Presentation 2

INTERIM PRESENTATION 2.

For my presentation i have came about for a different approach for my design. At first my design was very simple, however in that design i did incorporate my concept as i wanted the roof of my design to flow and have the wavy feel. After looking at my design and speaking to other in my class i came about it differently. A wave starts at the bottom and works its way up, so i come up with is a design that will have that feel as its one flowing wave. below is my submission

Interim Presentation 1.

for our First Interim we had to have an idea and design done and a clear concept of what we want to achieve. for this Interim we had to submit a contribution to the site model a clear understanding of our concept and drawings of our design. below is my interim submission.

Site model contribution.

My Concept was to create a roof that has a feel of the waves and ocean as the site is in walking distance to the beach i wanted my design to have a roof that is flowing like the ocean and waves and that i what im trying to achieve with my design below low are my drawings.

Week 8 Assignment 3

Assignment 3.

For our assignment 3 we were introduced to a new site. The site is located in Randwick, we have to design a Light rail train station. This station is going to be the end of the line station but in saying this the station must be more the just "end of the line" it will be a place of high public amenity.

for this week we went to the site to gather information to get a site model and understand how this light rail station will fit into a high traffic area. We had to be divided into 5 groups and each group was given an area to research and gather information my group was to be on High st. below is the information i have gathered.

General Observation.

Some of the things i observed when i was at the site are such things as how this site and park was a high traffic area. Also the transportation you have Bus stops and other type of public survives. The local use the park for a various of things like people go and eat on lunch breaks, people praying or exercising the park is a high traffic area and is well used. It also has an Anzac memorial that is placed in the middle of the park and that is the main attraction withing the park.

This is just a brief for my project design i will be changing what i think will look better as i progress with my design and have more sketches to help me have different ideas.
